Our family-owned business began with a few hives in 2021 and has grown into a thriving operation with over 300 hives, thanks to our passion for quality honey, sustainable practices, and community. From each jar of our unfiltered, gravity-strained honey, you’ll taste the dedication we put into nurturing our bees and the local landscape.

Our journey started with a sense of purpose, a love for the craft, and inspiration we feel was guided by something greater. As beekeepers, we’ve come to appreciate these fascinating creatures and the vital role they play in pollination and biodiversity. With our hives pollinating across Idaho and beyond, we’re not only producing honey but supporting local crops and bringing life to gardens.

Every member of our family pitches in, from tending the hives to bottling honey, making Bee Box Honey a true family affair. Our children have grown up working alongside us, learning the balance of hard work and respect for the natural world. We’ve also learned a lot from our beekeeping neighbors and farmers, who help us grow and generously offer space for new bee yards.

Our bees winter in Idaho but spend part of the year traveling to California and Washington, pollinating almond and apple crops before returning home. This journey provides our bees with the diverse foraging they need to stay healthy and thrive. It’s our way of staying connected to both the community and the larger ecosystem.
